The hackers say they’ve lost their patience with the Bongo regime

Anonymous hacktivists have published another video statement threatening the Gabonese government just as the country is preparing for municipal elections.

The hackers once again accuse the Ali Bongo regime of doing nothing to put an end to ritual killings. They claim the president and his family are only looking after their own interests.

“The people of Gabon are fed up. They are tired of being tortured and eaten by the very politicians who are stealing their livelihood,” the hackers noted.

“They are tired of the international community praising the Bongo regime for the benefits his greed brings to their corporations. Anonymous has lost patience with the Bongo regime and his enablers.”

Judging by the previous phases of OpGabon, we can expect to see some distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks, and possibly even some data leaks.
