As part of the Operation End Monsanto, hacktivists attacked a PR firm accused of helping corrupt corporations until it was completely shut down. It seems as the Biving, the company in question, liquidated its assets after being hit by numerous cyberattacks.

Anonymous representatives claim that at first they breached and leaked the information contained in the organization’s databases. Then they stole hundreds of emails and documents, after which they rooted their servers and defaced their official website.

At the time, the company acknowledged it was under heavy siege from hackers, but everyone believed they will fix all the issues. Instead, they terminated all their activities and some of their employees founded a new company.

It’s not certain if the hacking operations were the number one cause for Biving’s failure, but from this standpoint it’s a plausible scenario.
