It’s not news to anyone that Anonymous hackers condemn the practices of the Church of Scientology and now they came forward to reveal that their operation has “reborn.”

The hacktivist accuse the Church of causing the deaths of several of their members and engaging in policies of censorship across the globe.

“Our short term goal is to advocate rescinding the Scientology organization’s tax exempt status ensuring that the organization remains unable to perpetuate its history of intimidation, disconnection and other illegal or otherwise unethical activities,” a statement released by Anonymous reads.

For the time being it’s uncertain if we’ll witness any website defacements of data leaks, most protests against the religious institution being planned to take place in the real world.

On the other hand, since Anonymous isn’t a clearly defined group, it shouldn’t surprise anyone if some of them decide to protest in the manner they accustomed us to.
