14 DAY TRIAL // The latest video statement released by the infamous group reveals their plans to take down the Fox News website for their attempts to denigrate the Wall Street protests.
The Raw Story informs us that the chosen date, November 5, is closely connected with the movie “V for Vendeta”, the Guy Fawkes mask used by Anonymous fans being the same as the one worn by the film's main character.
Because of their “continued propaganda against the occupations” Fox News has become the latest target of the hacktivists.
“Since they will not stop ridiculing the occupiers, we will simply shut them down,” reveals the digitized voice from the clip.
It will be interesting to see if this time it was really Anonymous who called the attention of the masses or if it's just another attempt from law enforcement authorities to net members of the gang.
