A group calling itself Anonymous North India has leaked a list of around 300 email addresses and their associated passwords, information allegedly stolen from the servers of the FBI.

Several users on Twitter have been questioning the legitimacy of this hack. In reality, it’s just another fake FBI hack.

First of all, the email addresses have been available online for quite some time.

Furthermore, the email address/password combinations leaked by Anonymous North India were first published online almost one year ago on a Russian hacker forum.

In fact, the exact file that Anonymous North India leaked now, including the “FBI server details,” appears to be copied from a group called The Hackers Army, which published it on Facebook in October 2012.

This year, several “hackers” have published the passwords. Each of them claimed to have hacked FBI’s systems.
