Brazilian authorities have reportedly arrested several administrators of the Anonymous local pages ahead of a protest scheduled for Saturday, September 7.

Furthermore, the police announced that individuals wearing the Guy Fawkes masks at the protest will also be arrested.

Anonymous has been backing the protest against the government for some time now and have been promoting such messages on various websites, including their Facebook pages.

It seems the authorities are now seeking all individuals involved and have already arrested several Anonymous members.

The group considers all these actions to be an effort from the authorities to discourage protests and to thin out the numbers of those attending the events.

Anonymous issued a warning to fellow group members and to the entire country of Brazil, telling everyone about the actions undertaken by the police and their intentions in regards to the Saturday protests.
