Another government website’s defense mechanisms failed to do their job, members of the infamous hacktivist collective Anonymous managing to breach its databases, leaking all the information found in them.

The website belonging to the office of the New York Public Advocate (advocate.nyc.gov) is the latest victim of an operation signed Anonymous and AntiSec, Cyber War News informs.

The entire database’s content was posted on Filebeam, but it was taken down soon after the operation took place.

“NYC last night advocate.byc.gov got RM’d but is back online…here is the databases [LINK],” read a tweet from LulzOps on Christmas eve.

If up until recently Anonymous laid low, most of their activities focusing on calling the masses and threatening US authorities, during the holidays when everyone was busy celebrating, they went into action taking down some high-profile websites, including the one belonging to Stratfor.
