Anonymous hackers have breached pprota.com, the official website of Spain’s People’s Party (PP) in Rota, a town located in the Cádiz province of Andalusia.

Currently, the site displays the Anonymous logo on all of its pages. It’s worth noting that this particular website was also defaced back in August 2011.

The hacktivists have defaced the ruling party’s website in support of the anti-government demonstrations that take place these days all over Spain.

RT reports that over 1,000 people have rallied outside the PP’s headquarters in Madrid.

The massive protests follow news about a slush fund created by the party’s former treasurer, Luis Barcenas. The fund, which is said to contain millions of euro, was allegedly used to illegally finance the party, and for gifts to the organization’s high-ranking members.

This is not the first time when hacktivists target the websites of the People’s Party. Last week, they defaced the party’s main domain, pp.es.
