A few days ago, two Fullerton police officers who beat a homeless man named Kelly Thomas to death in 2011 were acquitted. The decision was followed by protests and even hackers of the Anonymous movement intervened.

37-year-old Kelly Thomas was a homeless man who suffered from mental illness. He was beaten by officers of the Fullerton Police Department and died shortly after due to the wounds they inflicted.

Many people are unhappy that the officers have been acquitted, including some Anonymous hacktivists who have doxed (released the personal details of) the officers involved in the case. Details on their family members have also been published online.

The leaked data includes addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts, and birth dates. In the meantime, other hacktivists suggest that this is not the end of their operation against the Fullerton Police Department.
