A few days ago, some Anonymous hackers announced that they started tracking individuals they believed to be “child predators.” They claimed that they monitored chatrooms and social media websites and found several individuals, including teachers, politicians and doctors.

The operation seems to focus mainly on cities from Canada, but some US locations also appear to be targeted.

One day after the initial announcement, the hacktivists published a second video, saying that they were unhappy with the fact that law enforcement authorities from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, didn’t put the evidence provided by the hackers to good use.

So, they've started naming the individuals they believe are involved in child abuse.

“Citizens, we will give you these two individuals, not as an invitation to vigilante justice, but to make you aware of the kind of people you may be surrounded with the kinds of people your children are surrounded with,” the hackers said.

In their latest video, released on Tuesday, the hacktivists say they will continue the operation, but they’re unhappy with the fact that the police has started looking into them, instead of the people they have outed as being child predators.
