Some Anonymous hackers taking part in the operation against Israel (OpIsrael) have published a document that allegedly contains the details of some 5,000 Israeli officials.

“It has come to our attention that the Israeli government has ignored repeated warnings about the abuse of human rights, shutting down the internet in Israel and mistreating its own citizens and those of its neighboring countries,” the hackers wrote in a statement.

“November 2012 will be a month to remember for the Israeli defense forces and internet security forces. Israeli Gov. this is/will turn into a cyberwar.”

The document contains names, email addresses and ID numbers apparently belonging to Israeli officials. The source of the information is currently unknown.

The file published online by the hackers has been removed, at least from its initial location, but the information will likely surface again.
