Anonymous hackers continue to raise awareness of animal abuse through the campaign dubbed OpFunKill. The hacktivists have released another statement.

“We have been researching, probing, scanning, and preparing to strike. Our targets have been warned and soon it will be time to act! We are Operation FunKill; a united collective of operations, hackers and activists who stand together against cruelty,” the hackers noted.

A number of websites have been breached and disrupted with distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks as part of this campaign. However, even more important than the attacks themselves has been the fact that the hacktivists have raised awareness, drawing support from numerous people.

Initially, the operation was launched in protest against the black rhino hunt in Namibia, but the campaign has been extended to target all types of animal abusers.
