A group of Anonymous hackers has published a video statement and a manifesto to announce the second phase of OpNSA, a campaign initiated after news broke about the NSA’s controversial surveillance programs.

According to the campaign’s initiators, the second phase of OpNSA aims at educating the general public and the media on “the constitutional and legal issues in the recently-exposed PRISM program and other aspects of domestic spying by the Federal Government.”

The hackers say they reject all forms of violence and any criminal activities for the campaign.

In the meantime, other Anonymous hacktivists say the NSA and the US government have kept them very busy.

“We have been very, very angry over the last few months -- and very, very busy. The only reason you have not heard from us before now is that we have been waiting and watching as the leaks come out and the spooks trip up over own lies and distortions,” they stated.

“Do not kid yourselves, however, that we will not be responding in a manner befitting the gravity of the crimes. You ain't seen nothing yet.”
