A hacker who claims to have been involved in Anonymous' attacks against Sony has quit the group over the leak of innocenet people's information.

The hacker whose real name is Matthew, but is known online as "SparkyBlaze," has announced his departure from the hacktivist collective in a Pastebin posting in which he criticizes the hacktivist movement's actions over the past few months.

"So When I Started With Anon I Thought I Was Helping People But Over The Past Few Months Things Inside Anon Have Changed. I Am Mostly Talking About AntiSec And LulzSec.

"They Both Go Against What I Stand For (And What Anonymous Says They Stand For). AntiSec Has Released Gig After Gig Of Innocent Peoples Information. For What? What Did They Do? "Does Anon Have The Right To Remove The Anonymity Of Innocent People? They Are Always Talking About Peoples Right To Remain Anonymous So Why Are They Removing That Right?" he asks.

The hacker admits that despite wanting the world to believe otherwise, Anonymous does have a group of leaders who don't care about those lower down the chain of command.

This was clear with Topiary's arrest, when the group immediately launched Operation FreeTopiary, gathering donations to help its former spokesperson.

SparkyBlaze questions why the group didn't help other individuals arrested around the world for participating in Anonymous DDoS attacks. "We All Know He Is A 'Higher Up' In Anon And They Started A Op For Him," the hacker writes referring to Topiary.

He advises law enforcement agencies to stop targeting the kids and go after the leaders, because without them, the group will crumble and the recruiting will stop.

SparkyBlaze's message has annoyed the Anonymous leadership who declared him a persona non grata. "The hacker known to us and the world as SparkyBlaze has been removed as a Member of the Peoples Liberation Front for insubordination and disrespect of Command Staff and disloyalty to both the PLF and Anonymous," Anonymous and PLF hacker Commander X announced.
