Serbia’s currently ruling party, the Democratic Party, has become a target of Anonymous hackers who are displeased with the organization’s way of managing “the current state of affairs.”

“We prepare food. We take away garbage. We work in the factory. We safeguard peace of mind. We are legion! We do not forget!! We do not forgive!!! We are Anonymous," read a message on the defaced page.

The hackers' purpose wasn’t to cause any harm, they just wanted to draw the attention of citizens, letting them know that  those who “fight for justice” still exist, B92 reports.

In the same part of Europe, but this time in Romania, hacktivist are also very active, embarking on a mission against the local government. Unlike in Serbia, the Romanian faction of Anonymous is far more determined, defacing sites and even leaking sensitive information from organizations they consider corrupt.
