“90210” star stays in shape with fast, full-body workout

At 22, AnnaLynne McCord, the real star of the new “90210,” series as many have dubbed her, is one of the hottest young stars of the moment. With this kind of labeling stuck on her, the expectations are also high and, in true celebrity fashion, this also means looking a certain way. Luckily, McCord has just the perfect solution to keeping her figure in check: short, fast and full-body workouts, as How Celebrities Lose Weight informs.

Granted, given that she’s still young and has a good metabolism, the star doesn’t really need to put too much effort into staying in shape. However, AnnaLynne is also aware that she isn’t going to be this lucky for eternity, but that’s a bridge she has decided to cross only when she gets to it. In the meantime, she makes sure she works out whenever she gets the chance, both to stay healthy and not to pack extra pounds to her amazing, slender figure.

In her search for the perfect workout, AnnaLynne discovered an eight-minute program developed by Barry’s Bootcamp in Los Angeles. It might not seem like much at first sight, but it’s guaranteed to help build muscle mass and burn calories, so much so that doing it four times a week suffices to get an incredibly toned body. The secret, it seems, is to be found in the short burst of moves that change every 30 seconds or minute. “My schedule can be so hectic that a fun, short workout is perfect for me!” McCord once said about the program.

According to HCLW, highlights of the Barry’s Bootcamp workout include: “Lunge and Curl with 5-10 pound weights for one minute; Leaping Lunges for one minute; Tricep Kick Backs with 5-10 pound weights 30 seconds each arm; Knee Drive, 30 seconds each leg; Squat Presses with weights for one minute; Plank Row with weights, one minute each arm (This one is a challenge!); Running Plank for one minute; Jump Squat for one minute (This one burns lots of calories.)”

Aside from this intense workout, AnnaLynne is also a fan of the Demi Plie, which helps her tone her calves and backside. The best part about the move, though, is that it’s very easy and, most importantly, it can be done anyplace, anytime, as long as you’re not wearing a tight skirt or high-heel shoes.
