The trial over Anna Nicole Smith's lifeless body has come to an end and, believe it or not, what happened in that room has made the entire world wonder why was this whole circus played in court in the first place. After the judge ruled that Richard Milstein (Dannielynn Hope's legal custody) would also get custody of Anna's body, the three disputing parts suddenly came to an agreement.
These past days, the trial was all over the media, especially as some new and strange accusations were made, new evidence popped out from all sides and the drama was at its peak. Howard K. Stern (Anna's would have been future husband) cried and sobbed and basically acted like a whiner. Larry Birkhead (Anna's former lover) kept his cool, made more accusations, got into a bitch fight (of words only) with Stern and alleged that, besides Danni Hope, he had fathered another child for the model (whom she miscarried in 2005). Virgie Arthur (Anna's estranged mother) cried her eyes out, vouched that they were the best of friends, saw her attorney pass out in court, claimed she was not after the dead woman's money, pointed her manicured finger at Howard and claimed he was responsible for the distance between them.
Meanwhile, Anna's body was at the hospital, rapidly decaying despite having been embalmed last week. When the judge was told that the body was deteriorating at such a rapid speed, he decided to make his ruling as soon as possible, and he kept his word for it. Today, he ordered the hospital to release Anna to Milstein, who is to take her to the Bahamas and inter her next to her son, Daniel.
The strangest development in the story came at the end of the trial: the three disputing parties held the press conference and made the ruling public together! Seeing them standing so close (without clawing each other's faces) and apparently on such good terms completely shocked the mass-media representatives, up to the point of asking themselves: 'Why was all this nonsense even necessary?'. The strange reconciliation even managed to top the shock the reporters had when they saw the judge cry, when reading the conclusions of the hearing.
Now that this first trial is done and over with, it remains to be seen when the paternity hearings will begin. Stay tuned here for more information.
