When you heard that George Clooney was getting married, you probably hadn't any hope of seeing what the ceremony was going to be like, because the actor isn't one of those celebrities that likes to plaster himself all over magazine covers and sell out for photo ops.

Recent reports from Page Six indicate that you are wrong and that George is going to be featured in a magazine. It's just that he's going to do it in style, in the classiest magazine of all, the “Fashion Bible” as it's sometimes called, Vogue.

Editor-in-chief at Vogue Magazine, Anna Wintour, has been included on the list of guests at Clooney's Italian wedding ceremony due to take place this September, despite the fact that that is an especially busy time for her since there are a lot of fashion shows taking place and she's expected to attend.

One insider reveals that Wintour won't be present at the nuptials just to sip champagne and wish the new couple well in their life, she will be there to work, because she plans to cover the exclusive event for her magazine, “She wouldn't go there and not cover it.”

From the hearsay surrounding the wedding preparations, it has emerged that the lovely bride will be wearing a gown designed by Oscar de la Renta, which we can expect to see in all its glory in the pages of the fashion magazine.

And it's not only because of her strict interest in fashion that Wintour is attending, but it's also because she's a close friend of Clooney's and she wouldn't miss his marriage for anything in the world.

If the bride is going to be wearing Oscar de la Renta, the groom is said to have opted for a tuxedo from Armani on his big day. The way we heard it, an entire team of designers from the fashion house flew out to Clooney's home in Italy to do fittings for the actor as also all of his male attendants at the party.

Just yesterday it was revealed that Alamuddin and Clooney applied for a marriage license in London, where the lawyer is currently living, thus making it all official. The wedding location was listed as Italy, although the exact place is still not clear.

Last week, as part of the preparations for the wedding, Amal had her bridal shower in the home of actress Ellen Barkin, another good friend of Clooney's who has starred alongside him in the movie “Ocean's Thirteen.” The event was described as “intimate and low-key,” just a gathering of friends and family.
