14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian has been accused of dragging her daughter North West, aka Nori, to fashion shows and having her sit front-row even though this type of event isn’t the ideal place to bring a child who’s not even 2 years old yet.
Apparently, the reality star is treating her daughter as her latest “accessory,” which she takes care to dress up in outfits matching her own.
Rumor has it the tantrums Nori threw at the New York Fashion Week a while back have gotten her a ban from similar events, at least those in NYC.
Anna Wintour has had it
As the photo attached to this article can confirm, Wintour sat right next to Nori on one of the instances when she threw a tantrum, at her father’s Adidas Originals show. Kim had Nori in her arms for the evening, but had to hand her over to a nanny when she started crying and wouldn’t stop.
Apparently, she didn’t care that she was ruining her father’s much-mediated big night.
Wintour was photographed leaning away from the screaming Nori, clearly displeased that her crying was spoiling the experience for her. Chances are Wintour too blamed Kim and not the toddler for the chaos, because it’s not like a kid of Nori’s age had much to say in attending the show.
The same thing happened a couple of nights later, during the Alexander Wang show, when Nori again had to be escorted outside after crying.
The Daily Mail says that Wintour has had it, so she’s banning all children, no matter their age, from the New York Fashion Week.
“Ice queen Anna Wintour has told designers not to allow toddlers on the front row at fashion shows she attends after Kim Kardashian’s daughter North threw a double tantrum. The US Vogue editor told aides of the ban during London Fashion Week, [we] can reveal,” the Mail says.
It was about time
As noted above, celebrity pundits have been saying all along that Kim should stop bringing Nori to fashion shows with her just because she loves the media attention and the idea of having a mini-me to dress up.
She’s been doing it for some time, forcing Nori to make her debut front-row in Paris a while back. Then too, she started crying and had to be removed and taken to a quieter area.
Fashion shows are not the kind of place you want to bring a toddler to: they’re noisy and crowded to the max, and there are countless photographers with camera flashes taking photos of celebrities and models.
These events also take place late in the evening, which means they interfere with a child’s sleep schedule.
