As yesterday the media was all in a frenzy, due to the rumor that Anna Nicole Smith and her lawyer and personal good friend for years got secretly married in the Bahamas, the former 'Playboy' Playmate's attorney made a public statement to prevent it from spreading any further.
Michael Scott said that the couple went out for a boat trip and, making full use of the opportunity presented to them, decided to swear before God to be always there for each other, especially during this difficult moment that they're going through right now.
'[They] made a commitment before God to be there for one another, to be each other's strength during this difficult time, now and always. Although the ceremony was officiated and a commitment before God, it is not recognized as a marriage by a government as no marriage certificate was issued.', the statement said.
The attorney also said that, even if they're not legally husband and wife now, Anna and Howard plan to become so when 'the time is right'. On the other hand, Howard K. Stern said the same thing in an interview with Larry King for CNN, immediately after he announced that he is the real father of Danilynne Hope, the baby girl born on September 7th, three days before her older brother Daniel passed away.
