Many who knew the late 'Playboy' model would strongly oppose this latest claim. However, for Anna Nicole Smith's half sister, Donna Hogan, saying bad things about the dead is not something that would upset her conscience. Not in a million years! Especially if she's to make some money out of it...
With her sister's body still in the hospital, Hogan, known for her strongly voiced opposition to anything that Anna ever did, went to the tabloids with her story. You see, she has been writing a book about her kin for a couple of years now and she probably thought that a couple of days after her death would be just the perfect time to go public with her version of the story.
The 'Daily Mail' got a hold of an excerpt from the manuscript for 'Train Wreck: The Life of Anna Nicole Smith', in which Hogan claims to have knowledge that the old man her sister married long ago is the real father of the infant daughter she gave birth to in the Bahamas. How is that possible, you might ask, since he is dead for, like, ages? It's simple: Smith froze a sample of the old man's sperm and used it to get pregnant, thus making sure that his family can't possibly argue with her right to the inheritance any more.
In Hogan's eyes, Anna was a calculated, cold-hearted and knavish woman, who always had her best interest at heart. Thus, it was only natural that she took an insurance policy for the old man's estate, when she was still married to him (that is, during their 14-month marriage). 'I wouldn't be shocked at all if it's J. Howard's. She saved his sperm after all and that maybe [sic] her trump card in her fight to get the old man's estate. [She was] seeing into the future. ... She takes Howard in to have his sperm tested. When the results show that he is still fertile, she has a quantity of his sperm frozen.', Hogan writes in her tell-all book.
'To her family, she hinted that she had used the old man's frozen sperm, and would be giving birth to Howard Marshall's child', she adds. Later, when addressing the question of the paternity of the child, the 'author' goes on to spill her venom: 'That's my sister for you. That bitch probably doesn't even know who the father is. Soon she'll probably say it's J. Howard's'.
Anyway, when the media contacted the book's publisher, they denied that such an excerpt is a part of 'Train Wreck'. It's obvious that Anna's sister is also out to get some media attention on her own, but the question is: how far will she go to get it? And, more important: is Dannielynn Hope really the daughter of the late (deceased at 90 years old) tycoon?
