Anna Nicole Smith's Lover Was Gay

If you thought you had enough of the Anna Nicole Smith drama, you'd better think again because this is far from over! Now that Anna Nicole's former lover (and, allegedly, fiancé) got custody of his child, Dannielynn Hope, the world thought it could take a well-deserved break from the story. Apparently, there is a male model who would beg to differ.

While Larry and his daughter are proudly gracing the cover of 'OK! Magazine', showing the world how happy they are to be at last reunited, there is yet another story that circulates in the media and which, for all we know, could be one hundred percent true. Or a blatant fabrication by another attention seeker who is trying to capitalize on the turmoil that Smith's death caused.

Apparently, Larry Birkhead, the one who proved to be the real father of the late model's daughter and who still claims they were secretly engaged before her fleeing to the Bahamas, is gay. And this is not a simple speculation but something that comes straight from a person who insists he had sex with Larry before he met Anna. 38-year-old model Kerrick Ross from Kentucky was contacted by the 'National Enquirer' and asked (to read: most likely paid) to talk about his relationship with the celebrity photographer.

Ross says that, back in 2000, Larry was gay and he probably is now too, even if he doesn't want to admit it. He claims they met at a cocktail party when Larry was still a struggling real estate agent, trying to make it big in Hollywood, immediately fell for each other and dated for about two months or so. And not that anyone's keeping count (yeah, right!), but they had sex for approximately ten times over the course of their brief relationship.

'America doesn't know the whole story about Larry Birkhead. He apparently had sex with Anna Nicole and fathered her baby, but there is no question: he also had sex with me! We were together for about two months and had sex eight to ten times, always at my apartment. He often spent the whole night with me', Ross told the newspaper.

The model also told the interviewer that, while he was out of closet, Larry never fully acknowledged that he was gay, preferring to believe that he was bisexual. '[He] was terrified about his family, who were devout Southern Baptists, finding out that he was having a gay relationship. He was especially afraid of his father finding out. He said, "If my Dad knew about this, he would kill me!" He was more comfortable saying he was bisexual. I never knew him to go out with women when we were together, but I found out after we broke up that he had been seeing women', Ross is quoted as saying.

Without implying the story is not true, maybe we should ask Mr. Ross two huge favors – number one, prove it!, and number two, what took you so long to say this? And, I guess, depending on his answers, we will learn just how much truth there is here.
