Anna Gunn, who plays Skyler White on “Breaking Bad,” won an Emmy at the 2013 edition of the gala for her portrayal but, at the same time, lots of negative attention for allegedly starving herself to fit into her awards show dress.

Speaking with People magazine, the actress says she’s not too skinny now: she just happened to be ill during the production of the show, and the treatment she was on made her weight fluctuate.

“I was actually ill while I was filming the show and it affected my weight. They gave me cortisone and I puffed up and gained weight. Now I'm better, thank God,” she says.

She doesn’t reveal what she was suffering from, but she insists she’s all better now.

As for how she manages to stay in shape, Gunn explains that being a hands-on mom is enough exercise as it is, but Pilates also helps a lot.
