As most female stars are slowly succumbing to the pressure of looking a certain way, Anna Faris is setting an example of how they should approach life’s most important events, like their wedding day. Known for her love of working out and always looking her best, the star is now taking another approach to what is commonly believed to be the most important moment of a woman’s life by fattening up before her wedding.

Before saying her “I Do” to fiancé Chris Pratt, the last thing on Anna’s mind is stressing herself with losing weight or going insane trying to fit a wedding gown two sizes smaller, just to look perfect on her wedding day. Quite on the contrary, as the star reveals for People magazine, she’s actually on a fattening diet because she now gets to spend more time with Chris and they do fun things together, like cook and just hang out, which leaves her with too little time to exercise.

“I am fattening it up!” Faris admits for People. “Now that I have a man, I’m like, ‘Oh, I don’t have to try anymore! Now I can eat. We love to splurge at home. We love to cook. My fiancé is an incredible eater, and so he’s really fun to feed, and it’s great to share some wine and watch a movie. He’s always like, ‘Baby, don’t lose that [backside]!’” the star jokes.

This is not to say that the actress doesn’t also work out; it’s just that she doesn’t spend the days up to the wedding killing herself with dieting and sweating out like crazy. As she also admitted in the past, Faris loves to hike because it’s the type of physical activity that gets all the muscles moving, while also allowing her to socialize, as she revealed in a recent interview.

Hiking also works great for Anna because she’s not a competitive person, she says for the same mag. “I am the laziest person you can imagine. I do hike and like to be outdoors, but I hate any competitor sports because I am so bad at them.” she concludes by saying.
