When the Kardashians step out on the red carpet, they usually steal the gazes of everyone there, and mostly because they choose to reveal lots of skin and to push the envelope continuously, sometimes at the expense of what fashion designers call “good taste.”

But that doesn't stop them from being fashion designers in their own right and putting out clothing lines that bear their name. It doesn't hurt their income either, it must be said. So, after putting their name on a line of clothes for women their age, the Kardashians also made a clothing line for children, but not everyone was happy about that.

Mother finds the Kardashian clothes inappropriate, starts petitions to have them pulled from toy store

One mother in particular didn't take a liking to the outfits, and in fact, she was so enraged when she saw what the Kardashians wanted her children to wear, that she went out and started an online petition to have the collection removed from Toys R Us.

Her name is Annie Logan, and according to her profile, she is from Roeland Park, United States. The mother writes in her petition that she doesn't want her children “to grow up to be a [raunchy] tape star,” an obvious dig at Kim Kardashian's embarrassing tape leak.

The mother goes on to point out that the toy store giant has recently pulled a series of toys from its shelves, after a mother petitioned that they were a bad influence on the children, seeing as how they were copying the drama series “Breaking Bad,” which was about drugs and violence.

Annie says that “you should pull this clothing line because it promotes bad behavior as well. The madness has to stop.” She is clearly referring to the bad reputation the Kardashians have gotten in the media thanks to their outrageous antics and their reality show which exposes their scandalous life style.

The petition was nowhere near as popular as Annie might have hoped, since it managed only 3,000 signatures at the time the article was written. But it has drawn the attention of the media which is now reporting on the “Kollection.”

Leather mini-skirts, fake animal furs and hot pants are all included in the Kardashian collection

Among the items put on display are a leatherette mini-skirt with a “diaper cover” attachment, a fur faux animal print vest, and a leatherette skirt. While the clothes were clearly not designed by the Kardashians, it's very likely that they all pitched in with ideas and gave their final seal of approval before the clothes were released.

A testament to that is the fact that Kim's daughter North often wears leather outfits forced by her mother, presumably to promote her collection and boost sales.

More and more mothers join the petition and they're all saying that the clothes are completely inappropriate for young children, since they are projections of the Kardashian outfits the reality stars love to wear.

Some parents were so upset by the collection that they are prepared to boycott the toy store giant altogether as they refuse to remove the Kardashian Kollection from their shelves. Those of you who think that this might happen have another thing coming. The Kardashian brand is a powerful seller, so it's highly unlikely that Toys R Us is going to give in to the pressure.
