14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan is trying to stay out of trouble, especially since the past couple of years haven’t been exactly her best. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton is saying the contrary, even hinting that she may be cutting herself again.
Thus, the feud has been reignited.
The other day, as fresh photos of Lindsay in Paris continued to emerge online, Perez Hilton took to his blog to comment on one which seemed to show her with scars on her arm (also pictured in the picture attached to this article).
He called the photo “disturbing,” saying it showed Lindsay with a “fresh scar,” which led him to conclude that she was cutting herself again.
“We’ve seen that kind of scar before. We’ve seen that kind of scar on HER before. We have a deep, dark feeling we know exactly what is going on – and we want it to stop,” Perez lectured from his high horse, as Gossip Cop informs.
“Honey, what is wrong with you? Why aren’t you getting any better? Why are you still the hottest mess of the Western Hemisphere? What’s it going to take to get you back on the right track???” Perez added.
However, as it happens, he made too much ado about nothing, the aforementioned e-zine writes.
Indeed, Lohan has scars on her arm, but they’re all old. Plus, Lindsay herself is denying that she’s cutting herself again, which can only mean that Perez is again looking for a boost in traffic by generating a scandal where none is to be had otherwise, Gossip Cop believes.
“Self-harm is a real and grave issue for young people everywhere. Women like Demi Lovato speak about their experiences in the hopes that they can help others from going down a similar path,” the e-zine writes.
By taking cheap shots at Lindsay just to cause a stir, Perez is “trivializing” the issue, the same media outlet believes.
Lindsay agrees, it would seem. “That’s crazy,” she says in a brief statement to Gossip Cop.
