14 DAY TRIAL // The Kardashians are perhaps the best example of how far you can go in the industry if you play your cards in the press well. Though they rarely speak out to deny tabloid reports (any kind of publicity is good publicity, remember), Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian have had enough.
With the latest issues of the weeklies out on newsstands now, the mother and daughter want their fans to know that several stories about them included there are not true.
Not only are they pure fabrications, but they’re also offensive, shameful and disgusting.
Kris for one seems to be the angrier of the two at some of the stories now in print.
She references some in a new post on her official blog: that she’s upset about the way Kanye West announced he and Kim are having a baby, that Robert Kardashian isn’t Khloe’s biological father, that Khloe is on the verge of divorce, and that she (Kris) and Bruce Jenner are also having marital issues.
“It is with great frustration and disappointment that I am writing to you guys today. I do my best to ignore the harmful, nasty and often mean-spirited tabloid rumors surrounding me and my family, but I can no longer remain silent amid the blatant lies I am constantly being asked about, and that people actually read and believe,” the momager to the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan writes.
“The continuous spread of egregious misinformation is just plain wrong, and it would be irresponsible of me and a disservice to my family to not address it at this point. I want to say loud and clear that these are toxic, baseless and disgusting rumors and none of them are true,” Kris writes.
“You all know us so well by now, and trust me, if we have something to say or announce, we have no problem shouting it from the rooftops! I am here to say that my family and I are in a great place and we truly know how blessed we are to be able to spend the time together that we do. We all love each other very much (kind of obsessed actually!),” she adds.
Khloe too has taken to her official blog to shut down the nasty rumors now in circulation, saying that she’s happy, happily married and waiting patiently waiting for the moment when God will bless her and Lamar Odom with a baby of their own.
