The ever popular Angry Birds game for Android devices has just been updated with new content. The latest version of the first installment of the franchise now offers players additional levels and power-ups.

The new beach environment comes in line with the summer holiday, so expect hours of fun after this update is applied.

There are fifteen new tropical levels that players must complete, but this time Angry Birds has power-ups. Rovio has introduced four special power-ups: King Sling, Birdquake, Super Seeds, and Sling Scope.

With the new power-ups, players will have an easier time completing challenging levels and obtaining three-star results. Players can check back daily to collect a free power-up.

Angry Birds 2.2.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
