14 DAY TRIAL // After featuring a teaser trailer for their upcoming summer update, Rovio Mobile have released the latest episode in Angry Birds Seasons - Summer Pignic, a free download for all existing players featuring 30 brand new stages and the usual bonuses.
Angry Birds Seasons is an episodic variant of the original Angry Birds game. It is updated in a timely manner based on various holidays, celebrations, or traditions around the world.
This time around, everyone is celebrating the arrival of summer. The birds are off to a picnic and the pigs, as usual, are up to no good.
“We’ve had St. Patrick’s, Trick or Treat, Season’s Greetings, and Easter, and now Angry Birds Seasons is back to soak up the summer sun!”, says Rovio, the Finnish developer behind the immensely popular Angry Birds franchise.
“It’s summer and the weather is hot hot hot, but Angry Birds has never been cooler! Forget schoolbooks and work assignments, it’s time to kick back with a cool drink and hot new levels!”, reads the description.
“It might be June outside, but Angry Birds is giving out new levels like it’s Christmas – your summer bonus has officially arrived!”, Rovio adds.
According to the official release notes, Angry Birds Seasons version 1.5.0 adds 30 Jam-packed new levels (one per day for a month) a sunny summer theme, and summer greeting cards to send to your friends.
To be noted that only one level per day can be unlocked.
Angry Birds Seasons is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later to run on any of these devices.
