Angry Birds Star Wars Now Free-to-Play on Facebook

Rovio has just confirmed that the latest entry in its extremely popular Angry Birds franchise – Angry Birds Star Wars – can now be played on Facebook.

Angry Birds took the world by storm a few years ago, starting off as a simple application for iOS devices.

Since then, the game became a huge franchise that spawned not just other iterations, like Angry Birds Seasons or Angry Birds Space, but also a variety of spinoffs.

The latest installment in the series, Angry Birds Star Wars, has managed to bring together the two great franchises into a fun package designed for smartphones, tablets, as well as computers.

Now, Rovio has confirmed that Angry Birds Star Wars can be played on Facebook, the popular social network.

The new version of the game has plenty of special features, including weekly tournaments and items.
