14 DAY TRIAL // The owner of the Angry Birds franchise has just released the sequel to the highly popular Angry Birds Star Wars game on the iOS platform.
The new game in the Angry Birds series comes with even more characters, powers and, for the first time, the possibility to play as the pigs.
Angry Birds Star Wars II provides access to more than 30 playable characters, including Yoda, Anakin, Mace Windu and Jango Fett. The game also includes a bonus reward chapter and lots of achievements that players can unlock while playing with both factions.
In addition, it introduces the so-called Telepods, which allows players to teleport their favorite characters into the game by placing their Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods figures in front of their device’s camera.
These Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods are sold separately via Hasbro and are compatible with select mobile devices.
As we have mentioned earlier, iOS users can join the “Pork Side” and play as Darth Maul, Darth Vader or General Grievous among others. You can also switch between characters in the slingshot at any time.
