Mobile game publisher Rovio managed to achieve a new milestone with its Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars games when making them available for download for devices running under Windows Phone 7.5.

The company promised that both of them would become available for all these handsets starting with November, when it also launched them for Windows Phone 8 smartphones.

The Angry Birds Star Wars title has already emerged in the Windows Phone Store, while the Angry Birds Space was visible for some devices already, but they are both available for all handsets powered by this flavor of Microsoft’s OS now.

“We received a lot of questions about when both games would become available on Windows Phone 7.5. Well, we promised it wouldn’t be long and we always keep our promises,” Rovio notes in a blog post on Nokia Conversations.

“So it is with great pleasure that we can confirm Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Space will appear in the Windows Phone Store for all Windows Phone 7.5 smartphones in the coming days.”

Owners of affordable Windows Phone 7.5 devices are those who should rejoice the most, since the two games are now available for them as well.

According to Rovio, they worked side-by-side with Nokia to make the two games available for download for the Nokia Lumia 610 and Nokia Lumia 510, and that goal was achieved.

“We’re delighted that everyone will now be able to join the galactic adventure and we hope you are too. We’d love to hear what you think of the game when you have time. Until then, may the birds be with you,” the company also notes.

Users interested in taking the two games for a spin should head over to the Windows Phone Store and search for them. Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices can also enjoy their features.
