Rovio Mobile Ltd. has confirmed the upcoming availability of several Angry Birds updates. As usual, the new releases have a distinct focus on the iOS install base, with 15 new levels being prepared for fans of the Angry Birds Seasons installment, and a new sync feature that will allow folks to start a game on the iPad and continue on their iPhone.

Via Appera and bsn comes word that Rovio is posting tweets with new information relating to future Angry Birds updates.

These include:

· Rovio is working around the clock to implement a sync feature that would supposedly allow players to keep their levels and scores in sync across multiple devices - between iOS devices and Mac OS X, as well as between Android and Windows PC, and all other possible combinations.

“We are working on a solution to get all Angry Birds devices in sync,” reads the Rovio tweet in question.

· Rovio promises an “amazing” Easter-themed update for Angry Birds Seasons with 15 new levels targeting iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad players

· The upcoming Angry Birds for Facebook application will include three Easter levels, Rovio said.

The Finnish game studio generally releases Seasons-themed updates days before the respective holiday.

Easter falls on the last Sunday of April, or April 24 of this year. Such releases are offered as free updates for existing Angry Birds players.

Angry Birds is one of the most popular puzzle platformers ever created, and is available not only for iOS platforms, but for desktop systems and Android devices too.

Angry Birds has sold well over 10 million copies since its release for Apple's iOS platforms.

The desktop installments of Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio are nearly identical to their mobile counterparts. These are attractively priced, with the Mac versions being available for download through Apple’s Mac App Store.
