14 DAY TRIAL // Angry Birds Seasons, the special edition of the #1 paid iPhone app of all time, has received a brand new update called Moon Festival. It packs 30 brand new levels, and the usual bag of additional goodies.
Angry Birds Seasons was last updated in June with a Summer Pignic release containing 30 new levels.
Rovio Mobile, the Finnish development studio behind the popular puzzler, now is proud to announce the new Angry Birds Seasons 1.6.0: “Get the latest update for Angry Birds Seasons and join the Moon Festival celebrations!”
The studio adds: “A new moon is rising, with an exciting new episode, 30 brand new levels and hidden goodies!.
The complete changelog reveals that there’s also a special Mooncake level, and Mighty Eagle is now available for Angry Birds Seasons too.
“It's September and the moon is full and high as the Angry Birds head to China for the mooncake festival!”, Rovio adds.
“The 3000-year-old harvest festival is one of the most important Chinese holidays, and the pigs think they can hide themselves in the midst of all the celebrations.”
“Help the Angry Birds as they chase the pigs through 30 brand new levels filled with pagodas, rabbits, and red lanterns, lit by a dazzling harvest moon”, reads the update’s description.
Rovio explains to those who may not be familiar with certain game components that Mighty Eagle is now available for Seasons!
“This in-app purchase lets you use the Mighty Eagle to destroy difficult levels and collect special achievements,” the developer says.
Angry Birds Seasons is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
