Angry Birds Rio for Android 1.5.0 Brings 24 New Levels, 20 Free Power-Ups

Rovio continues to offer new content to Angry Birds fans in the form of regular updates. The latest game to receive such an update is Angry Birds Rio for Android platform.

Besides from upgrading the game to version 1.5.0, the latest update brings 24 new levels, as well as 20 free power-ups.

Some of these power-ups have never been part of the game, such as Samba Burst and TNT Drop. Players can now collect stars to unlock 18 special Star Levels or earn enough feathers to unlock 6 Mighty Eagle levels.

Check out Rovio’s description for the newest update for Angry Birds Rio: “It's samba time -- with 24 new levels and new power-ups! Angry Birds Rio now has Sling Scope laser targeting and Super Seeds to supersize your birds, PLUS never-before-seen power-ups: Samba Burst and TNT Drop!”

Angry Birds 1.5.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
