Angry Birds Rio Goes Free for iOS – Download Here

Angry Birds Rio is now free to download on both iPhone and iPad after being selected Free app of The Week on the iTunes App Store. The game regularly costs $0.99/€0.89.

Last updated exactly a month ago, Angry Birds Rio (for iPhone and iPod touch) and Angry Birds Rio HD (for iPad) version 1.5.0 delivers an extra 24 levels and new power-ups.

“Angry Birds Rio now has Sling Scope laser targeting and Super Seeds to supersize your birds, PLUS never-before-seen power-ups: Samba Burst and TNT Drop,” Rovio said at the time.

Players must collect stars to unlock 18 special Star Levels, earn feathers to unlock 6 Mighty Eagle levels, and get 20 power-ups.

Angry Birds Rio is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later. The app is graphically optimized for iPad mini, all full-size iPads, and the iPhone 5.
