Google doesn't make a habit of advertising its products on TV or other old media platforms, but it has been warming up to the idea lately. The latest such endeavour is a TV commercial for Google Chrome featuring some of the creators of Angry Birds, as angry birds themselves. The commercial aired in a commercial break during the premiere of Terra Nova on FOX in the US. It features three Angry Birds developers, Peter Vesterbacka, Rovio's "Mighty Eagle," Serdar Soganci, web games manager at Rovio, and Jaakko Iisalo, senior game designer, at the Finnish company. In the ad, the three talk about the benefits of the web and Chrome in particular, in an Angry Birds setting, while an actual game is played in the background. Peter tries to talk about the ease of development, the Chrome Web store but also technologies such as WebGL, but just ends up 'angry.'
