Developer IceFish has released what looks like a miniature strategy game for iOS devices called iAngryBees, where players must “dish out revenge on the ants who killes [sic] the Angry Bees.”

Needless to point out, the folks at IceFish are likely trying to capitalize on the popularity of Rovio’s Angry Birds, albeit using a name that doesn’t appear to rip off the physics based puzzle game featuring birds and pigs.

“The Angry Bees are angry,” reads the game’s description.

“Dish out revenge on the ants who killes [sic] the Angry Bees. Use the Angry Bees troop to occupy the ants' fortified castles,” IceFish states, as it continues to explain the purpose of the game.

“Angry Bees features hours of gameplay, challenging space-based castles layout, and lots of replay value. Each level requires logic, skill, and strategy of moving troops to defeat the enemy,” the developer claims.

Key features include:

- various type of towers, different difficulty to occupy and different speed of producing Bees. - complicated moving routes, with skill moving troops would occupy the castle. - strategic attacking moving, while attacking the enemy, defense is necessary.

However, the full description does slip an “Angry Bees” here and there as if that was the game’s actual name.

“Play Angry Bees as they are angry! We hope you have as much fun playing Angry Bees as we did making it!!!” IceFish concludes.

There is no official web site linked to developer IceFish, nor is there a support site of any kind, although there should be, according to Apple’s strict guidelines.

The game doesn’t look like it’s going to win any awards in gameplay or graphics, therefore we recommend downloading the Lite version first, just to be on the safe side.

The full version of the game costs 2 bucks, and there are two releases - iAngryBees and iAngryBees2.

The two games are virtually identical in gameplay, but the “missions” differ from one game to another.
