Angie Plans to Practice Her French Skills

Angelina Jolie must really be having the time of her life right about now. No, no, she's not off saving the world again, posing for shots among ruins and soldiers in a country torn by war and poverty – not that there's anything wrong with that. But since she's all pregnant again (and back to making the "big" headlines every day), there seems to be a renewed surge of interest in all her exploits, and many agree that the best thing for the actress right now would be some good old fashion rest and relaxation. And incredibly, this time Angie really seems to be going for the easy route (not that her life is in any way riddled by tough decisions, except maybe "should I adopt another kid from Africa or from Asia, you think?"

So here's the scoop: Brangelina and their brood are apparently heading for Europe in an attempt to find a little peace and quiet, apparently. As if two stars of their caliber, who live and feed off media attention, ever REALLY wanted to be out of the spotlight. But that's a different issue, I think. In any case, they're reportedly headed for France - Provence, to be more specific - and are planning to raise their growing family there. So, what better move you think than buying a chateau and moving in for the long run. Given the fact that Angelina once vowed to give birth to her kids in poor countries around the globe (don't ask me why, she just did), I'm kind of surprised the actress didn't decide to give birth to her baby in Irak or Somalia. But no more, it seems.

"She has given up all thought of having her babies in Third World countries like she’d always planned. They agreed that the next time Angie was pregnant, they’d go to France. It holds a lot of happy memories for all of them", an insider stated. Apparently, having her baby in France is a tribute Angie is planning for her mother, French-Canadian actress Marcheline Bertrand, who died last year. "Giving birth in France will give her a certain feeling of peace about her mother’s death. All of the kids love it there. It’s a good place for them to be. Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there", another friend of the actress' confirms for Hello magazine.
