Angels Starting Pitcher Nick Adenhart Killed in Car Crash

Sports star, Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Adenhart was killed in the early hours this morning in a hit-and-run, only hours after pitching in a game that got sportswriters singing his praise. The person responsible for the crash that also took the lives of two other men was later apprehended, and is currently in custody, as TMZ can confirm.

According to the celebrity gossip website/paparazzi agency, the fatal crash occurred in the early hours of the morning, when a person driving a minivan crashed into Adenhart’s car. Adenhart reportedly passed away moments after reaching the hospital in the ambulance. Two other men also died, but they were in no way affiliated with the Angels. The culprit made a run for it but was apprehended by the police and is currently in custody, getting medical treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.

Photos taken at the scene of the crash show Adenhart’s gray Mitsubishi smashed into the pole, which has prompted speculation that speeding might have caused the crash.

Nick Adenhart was just 22 years old. His performance the other night got sportswriters singing his praise, labeling it a “brilliant effort by a 22-year-old right-hander making his fourth Major League start.” As of this moment, the identity of the other two victims has not yet been revealed to the media, as neither has the exact cause of the accident.
