Angelina and Brad Targeted by Kidnappers

Is it just me, or has Angelina Jolie been in the news more than usual lately? I mean, not that she was ever completely OUT of the news, but she and her partner Brad Pitt have been keeping a low(er) profile lately – well, not anymore. The rumor mill is ablaze with the rumor that Angelina is pregnant again, and now another, more sinister story emerged about how the power couple's biological daughter Shiloh might have her own private stalkers, who threatened to kidnap her. And while I don't believe that the story Life&Style broke is entirely accurate (there are parts of it that sound distinctly exaggerated), I do feel there may be some hidden threat dogging the celebrity power couple.

I'm not talking about someone who targets Shiloh specifically – although if that is true, it's bound to be very unsettling for the little girl's parents – but we all know there are plenty of crazy people out there, and even more potential kidnappers attracted by a wealthy family with such a high profile as the Jolie-Pitts. Also, I'm not sure if you remember this, but last November, there were some mysterious shots fired close to Brad and Angie's house in Los Feliz, California – and ever since this happened, the family has rarely returned to that particular place. So, it's not altogether the safest climate imaginable, although I always imagined that being Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie was a risky business in itself – and they do expose themselves willingly to all the publicity, so it's somehow part of the job description – up to a point, of course.

The thing is, I think I know what triggered all these "crazy Shiloh stalker" assumptions – or at least part of them. It's the fact that Brad and Angelina stopped taking Shiloh out with them whenever they went to an event or simply on a bike ride or a walk around town. In fact, Life&Style points out that Shiloh hasn't been photographed in public since January 4th this year. "Someone got to their doorstep and left a threat against Shiloh. The person included a photo of Shiloh and a note that read, "We got this close already". They’re freaked out. Shiloh has somebody protecting her 24-7, and Brad and Angie are trying to avoid taking her out of the house" says one of those convenient "insiders" quoted by the magazine. I really hope it's not the case – and I'm sure Brad and Angelina's security team has to be one of the best there are. We'll keep you up to speed with all the news on this, so stay tuned.
