Angelina Sucks Up To Brad's Mother

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly taking their four kids to visit Brad's mother for Thanksgiving. And my oh my, this move literally speaks volumes, since we all know that Angie and Brad's mum have not been the best of friends in the past. It hasn't helped either that Brad's mother Jane is still very fond of Brad's ex, Jennifer Aniston. And so this trip is reportedly Angelina's way of making peace with Jane, after she criticized Brad's mother for maintaining her close relationship with Brad's ex-wife.

"They're trying to get the kids together with Brad's family. If there is any tension between Brad's mother and Angelina, they'll set it aside for the holidays. Angelina knows how important it is for Brad to get quality time with his folks", said a source. Brad also reportedly wants his children to experience life in the small town of Springfield, Missouri. The same source added: "Brad thinks it's just as important to have the kids be exposed to the values he saw growing up in Missouri as it is for them to travel around the world. It helps keep him grounded, and he wants the same for his kids".

Relations between Jane and Angelina are said to have taken a turn for the worse recently when Jane read an interview in which Angie admitted to her past experiences with drugs, including heroin, ecstasy and cocaine. "Jane was livid after she saw Angelina's drug quotes - and she really let Angie have it when they were on the phone together shortly afterwards", a source reveled for Star magazine. "Jane told Angie there was nothing to gain from rehashing her drug use, and that she has a lot more to think about than herself - she should have considered her children and family first!" Ouch!

But I have to say, Brad's mom sure has a point. It can't exactly be very comforting to read that your son's partner and mother of his children once indulged in deadly street drugs. "Brad agreed that Angie's latest admission was uncalled for - but he also told his mom that maybe she was being a little too hard on her. Brad reminded his mother how far Angie has come from her wild days, and that this blow-up was only going to set their relationship back again", the source adds. Well, you know how those Thanksgiving parties go – and I bet you more than 50% end up in family fights and people throwing turkey in each others' faces. That's why I'm looking forward for more news on the Brangelina family reunion. Who knows...
