When she's stressed out, she loses appetite, even forgets to eat altogether

Since rumors about the state of her relationship with Brad Pitt are not enough, Angelina Jolie is again plagued by speculation that she might be having an eating disorder. She eats under 600 calories a day, says a new report.

Given that, in order to lose weight, a woman never goes under the 1,000-1,100 calorie a day threshold, Angelina's “diet” would be pure insanity, the Daily Mail writes, citing reports in the British media.

Yet this is how she survives and why she's again all skin and bones, as it became apparent during a recent family trip to Vietnam.

Jolie rarely eats a full meal and often forgets to eat altogether, an insider close to the star reveals. When she's very stressed out, she loses her appetite and survives on virtually a handful of food.

Right now, Angelina weighs about 97 lb (43,9kg), the British tabloid speculates – and it's all down to the 600-calorie “diet,” the equivalent of two bowls of cereal with milk.

“Angelina has been known to start her day with little more than a spoonful of coconut oil and a handful of cereal,” says the spy.

“The worrying thing is that she is so busy, she often forgets to eat,” adds the insider. Stress also plays an important part.

“Sometimes she'll skip lunch altogether or will just grab a few almonds and some gummy bears while she's on the go, or will have a protein-based shake rather than anything more substantial,” the Mail further writes.

Dinner is the only proper meal that Angelina has – that is, when she doesn't forget about it completely.

“Then dinner could be something like a lean steak and a glass of red wine,” the spy further says.

This is not the first time that the tabloids are weighing in (pun intended) on Jolie's thin figure. Rumors about a possible eating disorder first started making the rounds in 2007, when her mother died and she dropped a lot of weight almost overnight.

Back then, she reassured concerned fans that her weight loss was a normal part of the grieving process, telling them she was still healthy because she got plenty of exercise and would eat right.
