Angelina Jolie's daughter was released yesterday from the hospital, after one week of treatment for dehydration and malnutrition. Paediatrician Dr Jane Aronson said: "Jolie has been wonderful, the baby is doing great. And most importantly, they have bonded".
Last week, Angelina Jolie went for her new Ethiopian daughter, together with her 3-year-old Cambodian son Maddox. Her dear friend Brad Pitt joined her in the trip. The couple did not reveal other details on the adoption to The Associated Press.
For Angelina the new adoption is a dream come true. "She's always wanted to extend her family", a source close to the actress told People, reports Reuters. "Angelina's adopting as a single mother and she wants that emphasized", the source added.
The 5-month-old Ethiopian girl was named Zahara Marley Jolie, according to People magazine's web site.
According to Tesfeye Berhu, manager of the Wide Horizons agency, which arranged the adoption, the natural parents of the baby girl are suspected to have died of AIDS.
