Angelina Jolie has reportedly offered Brad Pitt a $400,000 family wedding ring

Over the weekend, Brad Pitt turned 47. Longtime partner and mother to his children Angelina Jolie decided to celebrate his birthday with a stupendous present: a custom-made family wedding ring valued at almost $400,000.

A recent report in Contact Music says Angelina decided turning 47 was the best occasion for her to remind Brad of the commitment he’s made to her and the whole family.

The family wedding ring is supposed to symbolize just that: a bond that doesn’t need to be put on paper to be real, and that is not exclusive to her, but also includes their six children.

As noted above, the ring cost Angelina an estimated $400,000 and it comes with several engravings on it, including her and the children’s name.

“The band has each of their children’s names on it and Angie’s on the top,” an unnamed but reportedly very well informed source tells the media, as cited by Contact Music.

“This is a family wedding band to symbolize Brad isn’t just married to Angelina but to the family as a whole. It was described as absolutely exquisite,” the same insider dishes.

Aside from the names of their children and her own, the band is also engraved with “mystical references” whose meaning only Angelina and Brad know, says the spy.

“She told me there are mystical references to his 47th birthday that have also been engraved on the band and the family all have their own interpretations of what the band means to them and of what 47 means to them,” the insider explains.

Over the weekend, we also informed you that reports were saying Angelina and Brad had finally decided to get married, and that they would do so in a secret ceremony in India, which will take place on January 14.

The ceremony will reportedly be officiated by Hindu priest Gurudev Ramlalji Siyag, who also married Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar, and Katy Perry and Russell Brand.
