14 DAY TRIAL // It’s the weekend, so that means that, if you’re reading this, you already know to expect an Angelina Jolie / Brad Pitt story, this time with a touch of desperation and a side of cheating. Brad apparently cheated on Angelina with a “mystery brunette” and she’s all heartbroken about it, Star Magazine claims.
The magazine writes in its latest print issue (story via CB) that Brad hooked up with a 20-year-old woman while in Telluride for the Film Festival, which he attended to promote “12 Years a Slave,” and they spent the night together.
The Festival took place 3 months ago, so the tab tries to explain that it took so long for the story to get out because Angelina had no idea about what happened behind her back because, obviously, Brad did not inform her of his indiscretion. Oh but when she did find out, all hell broke loose, if we’re to believe unnamed insiders claiming to be close enough to the A-list couple to have this kind of intel.
“Angelina is insecure when it comes to Brad,” says one spy. “She knows that he cheated on Jen with her, so what’s to stop him from cheating again? She can’t monitor everyone he talks to when she’s across the world with their children.”
Someone from Brad’s entourage let it slip that he was acting inappropriately, so Angelina called her partner immediately and he came clean, the insider explains.
“She called him, crying, and accused him of cheating on her while she’s been working her butt off and taking care of their kids. Finally, he admitted that he’d made a mistake with a woman in Talluride. She told him that she thinks he’s been unfaithful many times and said she’ll never trust him again,” says the tipster.
In the following days, Angelina refused to take Brad’s calls or messages, determined to end the relationship. She did allow him to see the children though.
The spy hints that they’ve called a truce now and are trying to work things out, but there’s no telling where this might go: there might be no wedding after all if Jolie doesn’t forgive him.
On the other hand, Brad is “tired of her accusations; he says all that negativity is hurting his acting,” another source says.
