Angelina Jolie and Father Jon Voight Are Reconciled

Their spats have been more documented than any other celebrity feuds ever, with Angelina Jolie saying she never wanted to hear from her father again and Jon Voight trying to reach out to her through the media and making an even bigger mess of things. At long last, the two seem to have put all their differences aside, with Voight joining Angelina and her family in Italy, where they’ve recently relocated, as People magazine can confirm.

Ever since she once said that she would no longer talk about her father to the media, Jolie has kept her promise. Voight, on the other hand, recently gave a statement when asked whether it was true his daughter had split from partner and father of her babies Brad Pitt, as reports were claiming. At the time, the actor insisted everything was fine in the Jolie-Pitt household and he did it with so much conviction that people started wondering again whether they had not reconciled.

Judging by the latest sets of photos emerged, the latter might apply, as father and daughter were photographed together over the weekend, sharing a laugh and looking very much like on good terms again. “The Jolie-Pitt clan stepped out with an extra member on Sunday in Italy, as Jon Voight joined daughter Angelina Jolie, partner Brad Pitt and their children for a trip down Venice’s Grand Canal,” People says.

“Although the father-daughter pair spent much of the past decade estranged, the two have reportedly reconciled. Sunday marks the first time Jolie and Voight have been photographed together in several years. The family has made the most of their time in Venice, where Jolie is preparing to shoot The Tourist with Johnny Depp,” the publication further informs.

In other Jolie-Pitt news, over the weekend, a report emerged that it could very well be that all the photos that keep popping up online with the Brangelina clan are part of a very well-devised strategy of putting the breakup rumors to rest. The two superstars are usually very discrete and go out of their way to prevent the paps from taking their picture, so exposing themselves like that does raise a serious question mark, unnamed sources were telling the media, as we also reported.
