Report says Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married in secret on Christmas Day

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie kept their engagement a secret until they had no other option but to confirm it and, according to various media reports, they might do the same when it comes to their wedding – which has already taken place.

The Telegraph writes that Hollywood’s most famous and popular couple, Brad and Angie are officially husband and wife.

The wedding reportedly took place in the Caribbean on Christmas Day, where the two retired with their children and close friends for the holidays.

“Word reaches us that Hollywood's hottest couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, secretly tied the knot on Christmas Day in the Caribbean's Turks and Caicos Islands,” The Telegraph says.

However, at the time of writing, the publication had not been able to confirm the story with reps for the two stars.

“The couple, who announced their engagement in April 2012 after seven years together, have been spending the holiday at the private Parrot Cay estate of American fashion designer, Donna Karan along with their six children, Brad's parents Jane and William Pitt, his brother Doug and sister Julie,” the report further says.

“‘The Sanctuary,’ a collection of three secluded villas, three open-air pavilions and four swimming pools, was built by Karan as a ‘cocoon of serenity’ for her family following the death of her husband Stephan Weiss in 2001,” adds the same media outlet.

Indeed, speculation about the Brangelina wedding has been making the rounds a lot ever since they announced their engagement in April, even though neither star accepted to address it, whether to confirm or deny ongoing reports.

At one point, Brad and Angelina said they would only tie the knot when gay marriage became legal but, in recent months, he did hint that they would probably do that regardless of the legality of gay marriage in the US after all.
