After so many years as a couple and a gorgeous family together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finally decided to walk down the aisle and be legally wed – in a ceremony that will take place in India next month, it has emerged.

Presumably, this was supposed to be a secret but, somehow, word of it got out: the two megastars will tie the knot in January in India, in a ceremony officiated by the Hindu priest Gurudev Ramlalji Siyag, The Telegraph reports.

Apparently, the priest met the couple a way back and has taught both Angelina and Brad yoga lessons, helping them cope with the demands of their stressful life.

It’s because of this that they’ve decided to get married in India in a ceremony officiated by him, it’s is being said. As of now, reps for the couple have not yet denied the report.

“They’ve been practicing his Siddha yoga and they start and end the day by chanting a sacred word he’s given them. It’s transformed their relationship they’ve both cut back on drinking and no longer argue,” a friend is quoted as saying.

Presumably, the priest also convinced them to get married for the sake of the 6 children they have together. The ceremony will take place on January 14, the same friend reveals.

“They are now understood to be planning a Hindu wedding at the Guru’s Adhyatm Vigyan Satsang Kendra ashram in Jodhpur in January. Officials told local reporters the couple may arrive in the city to celebrate New Year’s Eve and marry soon after,” The Telegraph writes.

The Guru refused comment, but one of his disciples is telling the local media that, even if the report were accurate, the priest wouldn’t confirm it because it’s not in his character to boast about his celebrity connections.

“Guruji is a humble and simple person; he never aspires to have celebrities around him and even if has celebrity followers, he never boasts about it,” says the disciple.

Guruji also married actress and model Elizabeth Hurley to textile billionaire Arun Nayar, and pop star Katy Perry to British comedian Russell Brand.
