14 DAY TRIAL // Talk about switching to a non-brand product! Angelina Jolie was less than her ravishing self last night, May 12, at a screening in New York for HBO's “The Normal Heart” and it wasn't because she was feeling ill or something of the sort; it was because she suffered one of the most dreaded make-up blunders out there apart from running mascara – the equally dreaded white-powder face of doom!
It's amazing that no one pointed out to her that she had on her face and cleavage something that can best be described as white flour stains. The make-up malfunction was immediately visible the moment she stepped out of the car with her husband Brad Pitt who also didn't seem to notice.
The paparazzi began snapping away even more passionately after they realized that Angelina was covered in patches of white powder. He 38-year-old actress came together with Brad at the Ziegfeld Theater, dressed flawlessly in a strapless knee-length dress which didn't seem to have any white powder residue on it by a miracle.
However, the same thing can't be said about Angelina's jawline and neck line which were immediately exposed under the bright flashes of the paparazzi cameras. Her presence at the event is explained by the fact that Brad Pitt was one of the producers on the Ryan Murphy-directed film.
The movie was written by Larry Kramer and it's about the pursuit of a gay activist to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS in the early 1980s.
Sadly, the event was ruined by the sub-par make-up powder which is a highly unusual thing for Angelina, normally a spotless presence on the red carpet. It's not known what brand of powder Angelina was using but once it's going to become public knowledge, it's probably going to be avoided by every woman in the world.
One can even imagine Angelina's shock as she came across the photos today and realized that her face looked like the one of a clown halfway in the process of removing his make-up. It's safe to say that at least one make-up specialist is going to get fired today after these pictures will make the rounds on the internet.
The bad part is that the make-up artist can be fired only once, but Angelina will have to live with these photos for the rest of her career, and, knowing Hollywood, you can rest assured that it's going to get mentioned a lot from now on.
